When I was a little puppy, I used to try and play with the big dogs.
It was pawsome, everyone loved it. I’d jump all over them, chew their ears, climb on top of them, pin them down, grrrr in their faces and they ALL loved it.
I think something happened when I changed from a puppy collar to a dog’s collar. I was told that I had something called a puppy license … and it’s gone now.
I’ve looked everywhere for it. In the park, in the woods even in the car – it was nowhere to be found.
I had to do something. I was in trouble, I wasn’t allowed to bite the big dogs ears anymore. I don’t understand, because when I was a real little puppy and used to bite their ears, they used to yelp and say ‘get off me Bella’. Now I don’t even get close to the ears, the big dogs know what I’m about to do and they give me ‘the look’ and say ‘Don’t even think about it Bella’.
So I had to learn another way to play.
When I was little, I wasn’t that fast. And I wasn’t that clever. My legs didn’t really do what I wanted them to do all the time and the big dogs could ALWAYS take my toys and play with them.
Now, I’m super fast. I’m super clever and my legs listen to me all the time. So now, the big dogs can’t catch me.
My brother Alfie thinks I’m a thief.
Alfie’s the fastest Entlebucher in the UK, but you know what – I’ve been practising. I say, I’m not a thief, it’s just getting harder to catch me and I’m going to be the fastest one day.
What do you think? Am I a toy thief or am I just super fast?
